It's based on an old style Kombi Van, like these and comes complete with surfboard and his name on the numberplate. I hope he likes it!

Surfie Wagon
I made this surfie van for a friends son. He is turning five, which to me seems to be one of the most significant birthdays a child/person has. My friend and I are currently deep in discussion/planning mode for a Monster Party. We found heaps of ideas here .

ReplyDeleteFantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutly adorable and I would so love it. Its very cool and cool how the surfboard is detachable. when I was a child I made my two younger cousins a fridge magnet each out of wood. One a fish and one a car. They were not perfect and I thought they were terrible. It wasnt until years later as an adult that my aunty said they still loved those magnets to this day. That was a powerful thing to say, it healed that spot at that age. Im sure your freinds son will LOVE his surf mobile.
ReplyDeleteOh whoops I dont think the surfboard is detachable, well it looks cool anyway..
