Getting organised early this year. Because last year Isla's birthday party flew by in such a rush that I didn't get a chance to take many (any?) photos and I definitely didn't feel as though I had the time to relax and enjoy it.
Sharing celebrations with my children is one of my favourite favourite things about being a Mum, and I want to savour this time where it's not too uncool for them to hand out Mummy-made, cupcake shaped invitations to their friends at preschool...
And to plan, and discuss the upcoming party for months in advance. 
It's going to be a blast! I think I'm almost as excited as she is!
Hehe cute. I'm not even a mum yet and I get excited about doing such things also! (luckily I'm an aunty of 7!). Isla's a lucky girl :)
ReplyDeleteThe invites are very cute! We're busy planning Aesops birthday party too.. though I must confess part of me wishes I could paint cute cupcakes instead of make death star pinatas!!

ReplyDeleteWow, you are good! Finleys 2nd birthday is in just over 4 weeks and I haven't even given it any thought yet! Must get onto it I guess, before life turns hectic. I too wish I could be painting cupcake invites, but I have a feeling something more truck related might be in order...
